Wartook Gardens provides traditional bed and breakfast accommodation where your hosts, Royce and Jeanne, invite you into their home with a welcoming afternoon tea. Fresh flowers and chocolates await you in your room.

• By arrangement Jeanne can cook an evening meal or something special for a birthday or anniversary. Wartook Gardens has a liquor licence and guests are invited to try some of the great local wines that are grown in this area or bring their own. Guests may like to try the restaurants or alternative eating places in Halls Gap or Horsham. Both towns are only 35 minutes by car.
• In summer the home is air-conditioned, with all rooms having ceiling fans, and the saltwater pool awaits you after your day out, or you may like a swim before breakfast.
• In winter Wartook Gardens is always warm as there is under-floor heating and a wood-heater.
• Fresh, sweet, clear rain-water to drink.
• Guests sleep well at Wartook Gardens in the peace and quiet of the fresh mountain air. Cotton sheets and wool doonas or blankets and electric blankets assist your comfort.
• Each morning the birds will wake you, before you eat a hearty breakfast in the glassed in dining-room where you can enjoy the stunning view of the Asses Ears, the extensive garden, the bird activity and an occasional kangaroo.
• A picnic lunch may also be provided by arrangement. Royce & Jeanne will provide advice on where to go and what to see, but are also able to provide maps etc. to ensure that you make the most of your time in the Grampians.
• The home is surrounded by a 8 acre garden containing approximately 1,000 species of Australian Plants as well as roses and other traditional garden plants. Bird life is plentiful, with over 115 species recorded in the garden, including 11 members of the parrot family.
• Large numbers of kangaroos, and emus are constant visitors to the property. We are on the western edge of the spectacular Grampians National Park.

Wartook Gardens is an ideal base from which to explore all that the extensive Grampians and surrounding areas have to offer.
