Whatever your interest, the Grampians has lots to offer. Royce and Jeanne are able to assist with books, maps and advice on what to see and do in the Grampians area and beyond.
At Wartook Gardens explore the gardens, sit and relax and observe the birds, have an early morning or evening swim, or go for a walk and observe the large mobs of kangaroos.
Some of the attractions that can be seen in the Grampians National Park are listed in the Walks of the Grampians section. You may also wish to visit the many wineries, Horsham, Mt Arapiles or Little Desert National Park.
Jeanne and Royce will happily give advice and provide maps to ensure a great visit.
If your time is limited, choose carefully what it is you wish to see and do and then make sure that you allow yourself sufficient time. There is so much to see and do in and around the Grampians National Park.
Visit Zumstein, MacKenzie Falls one of Victoria's largest waterfalls - always a good flow as it is the source of Horsham's water supply and Lake Wartook, one of the oldest man made reservoirs in Australia.
Reed Lookout, where you can comprehend the size of the Grampians National Park with views in all directions. The walk to the popular "Balconies" is only 45 minutes return.
Boroka Lookout gives magnificent views over the plains and lakes, to Stawell and the hills around Ararat, and you also look down on Halls Gap and Lake Bellfield.
Into Halls Gap for a late lunch, and then visit Brambuk the National Park and Cultural Centre, before returning by the same route to Wartook Gardens.
Travel through Wartook, turn into Roses Gap Rd and visit historic Troopers Creek and Roses Gap.
Walk to Beehive Falls (1hr return) and then turn south at Rose Gap to Heatherlie Quarry (1hr return) about turn towards Mt Zero.
Visit Golton Gorge and proceed to Hollow Mountain Car Park (Hollow Mountain walk 1 hr return) before going on to Mt Zero and Flat Rock. You may visit Olive plantations and Aboriginal shelters before returning to Wartook Gardens.
Take the Roses Gap Road to the Western Highway, through Stawell to Great Western (1 hour by car) where a number of wineries can be visited. For further information visit our Wineries information page.
