Grampians Bed & Breakfast

Wartook Gardens Grampians Bed & Breakfast Accommodation offers a great holiday destination for up to 6 guests. It is the ideal base from which to explore the Grampians National Park, Halls Gap, Horsham, Mt Arapiles and the Wimmera.

Wartook Gardens offers traditional bed and breakfast accommodation in the beautiful Wartook Valley. Your hosts Royce & Jeanne will make you most welcome. Wartook Gardens is set on 70 acres, and has a multi-award winning Australian plant and exotic garden of 10 acres and over 115 bird species. The garden contains approximately 1,000 species of Australian Plants, and includes the Ornamental Plant Collections Association (OPCA) official Victoria Hakea Collection.

Enjoy a relaxing swim after a walk in the Grampians

The Wartook Valley is situated on the quieter, lesser known north-western edge of the Grampians National Park - the "Sunny Side of the Grampians". Enjoy the peace and tranquillity, the sunsets, the clean, fresh country air, surrounded by mountain views and mobs of kangaroos. We are close to MacKenzie Falls, Reeds Lookout, the Balconies, and many other Grampians National Park attractions.

The Grampians National Park with 600km of roads, 200km of walking trails, wonderful wildlife, rugged rock formations, wildflowers and fauna, can offer a great experience for the serious bushwalker, photographer, rock climber, fisherman or those who just want to stroll through natural beauty, or simply relax.

Wartook Gardens is closer to the Northern and Western Grampians than Halls Gap, and therefore is ideally situated:

  • to tour the Mt Zero, Roses Gap, Golton Gorge and Heatherlie Quarry areas
  • to walk in the Mt Zero, Hollow Mountain, Mt Stapylton, Mt Difficult and Brigg's Bluff areas
  • to visit the best wildflower areas of the Grampians National Park
  • to visit the ancient aboriginal art sites within the National Park
  • to visit or fish the many lakes and rivers in and west of the Grampians

Wartook Gardens is also a convenient stopover between Melbourne and Adelaide.

Experience the friendly hospitality, an appetising hot breakfast, served to you in our wonderful dining room with spectacular views of the Asses Ears, garden and birdlife. If required, Jeanne would be delighted to also cook an evening meal.

Royce & Jeanne welcome you into their home. Make Wartook Gardens your base from which to explore all that the Grampians and surrounds have to offer - an all season's destination.
